Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Aurelle collects when you visit or buy from this store, why we collect it, and who we share it with. Plain version first: we collect what we need to get your order to you, we do not sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number if you provide one, along with the details of what you ordered. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor and are never stored by us or visible to us.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the store we collect information about your device and browser, including IP address, browser type, time zone, and which pages you view. This comes from cookies, log files, and similar technologies.

Information you choose to share. If you join our email list, contact us, or leave a review, we keep what you send so we can respond and hold a record of the conversation.

2. How we use it

  • To process and fulfil your order, including payment, shipping, and order emails.
  • To answer your questions and handle returns.
  • To screen orders for fraud or risk.
  • To send marketing email where you have asked for it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and we honour it.
  • To understand how the store is used so we can improve it.
  • To meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share limited information, such as device and browsing data, with advertising partners so that ads for our products can be shown to you elsewhere. Under California law that counts as sharing for cross context behavioural advertising, and you can opt out at any time through our Your Privacy Choices page. Beyond that, we share information only with the service providers we need to run the store, and only what they need:

  • Shopify, which hosts this store and processes orders. Their privacy policy is at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • Payment processors, who handle the transaction securely.
  • Shipping carriers, who need your name and address to deliver the parcel.
  • Email and analytics providers, who send order emails and measure site traffic.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and measure how the store is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though turning them off may stop parts of the store from working. Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal; there is no agreed industry standard for responding to it, so we do not currently change our practices when we receive one.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop sending marketing email. California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, the right to request its deletion or correction, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We do not sell personal information for money. We may share it with advertising partners in the way described in section 3, and you can opt out at any time using the link below. 6. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we need them to fulfil the order, handle returns, and meet accounting and tax obligations, which in practice means several years. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

7. Security

Our checkout is encrypted and we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

8. Children

This store is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The date at the top shows the last revision.
